OriginStake: Your team has made it to the top 5, but it wasn’t a consistent journey. How did you feel when you first learned that you were in the top 5? Was this result expected, or did it come as a surprise?

CryptoSJnet: It was a mixture of excitement and surprise. While we always aimed for the top, seeing our efforts pay off and officially making it to the top 5 was an incredibly rewarding moment for all of us.

OriginStake: What inspired you to join the Namada Shielded Expedition and become a pilot?

CryptoSJnet: Our passion for blockchain technology and privacy solutions drove us to join the Namada Shielded Expedition. We saw it as an opportunity to contribute to a project that aligns with our values and expertise.

OriginStake: Can you take us through your journey to the top 5 and share some insights into the ups and downs you experienced during the race?

CryptoSJnet: Our journey was filled with intense moments of both progress and setbacks. We faced technical challenges, but our team’s resilience and collaborative spirit helped us overcome each hurdle.

There were times of frustration, but also times of great achievement that pushed us forward.

OriginStake: The race has taken over two months, with many delays, bugs, and changes in the NEBB ranking. How did these factors impact your team’s morale and strategy?

CryptoSJnet: While the delays and bugs were challenging, they also strengthened our resolve. We adapted our strategy continuously, focusing on maintaining high performance and supporting each other to keep morale high.

OriginStake: How did you prepare for this expedition? What were some of the key elements of your preparation?

CryptoSJnet: Our preparation involved extensive research, technical training, and simulations.

We also developed a robust plan for communication and task delegation to ensure that every team member could contribute effectively.

OriginStake: Maintaining motivation and focus is crucial in such a long race. How did you and your team stay motivated, especially during tough times?

CryptoSJnet: We stayed motivated by reminding ourselves of our goals and the significance of our work. Regular team meetings, celebrating small victories, and keeping a positive attitude helped us stay focused and driven.

OriginStake: What were your feelings when you saw changes in the NEBB rankings every day? How did it affect your strategy and morale?

CryptoSJnet: The fluctuating rankings were both stressful and exhilarating.

They kept us on our toes and pushed us to continually refine our strategy. Seeing improvements in our ranking boosted our morale, while drops motivated us to work harder.

OriginStake: As a top pilot, what do you believe sets you apart from other participants in the expedition?

CryptoSJnet: Our team’s combination of technical expertise, strategic planning, and cohesive teamwork sets us apart. We are dedicated to our mission and constantly strive to improve our performance.

OriginStake: Can you share any specific technical challenges or obstacles you encountered during the race and how you overcame them?

CryptoSJnet: A significant challenge was maintaining uptime above 99% for our node. We addressed this by implementing a high availability design from the beginning and closely monitoring it during the expedition.

OriginStake: What has been the most memorable experience for you in this race so far?

CryptoSJnet: The most memorable experience was when we completed most of the S-class tasks. The sense of accomplishment and teamwork at that moment was truly unforgettable.

OriginStake: How do you envision the future of privacy in blockchain technology, and what role do you see Namada playing in that future?

CryptoSJnet: We believe privacy will become a fundamental aspect of blockchain technology, ensuring secure and confidential transactions. Namada has the potential to lead this evolution by providing robust privacy solutions and setting new standards in the industry.
